Current limiting reactor
A current-limiting reactor is used to limit short-circuit currents. Keeps the voltage level in electrical installations during emergency modes of short circuit. It is used in power systems with voltage up to 330 kV.
An air-core current-limiting reactor is resistant to short-circuit currents that exceed the rated value. It does not lose inductive resistance due to saturation.
The use of a current-limiting reactor allows to simplify the complex equipment of relay protection and automation. This increases the reliability and service life of switchgear.
At the request of the customer can be made products with other characteristics.
